Mars Racing Series 2020 Season Nearing End
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LaSalle, Illinois (August 18, 2020) – The Rip It Energy Fuel Mars Racing Series has had a trying 2020 season dealing with the pandemic along with everyone else. We have had to cancel, postpone, and reschedule events all year long. It has been a struggle to have the schedule we had envisioned going into the 21st season of the series.
We have two exciting weekends coming up. Friday and Saturday August 28th and 29th we will be at Peoria Speedway for a pair of $5,000 to win events. Friday night will the be the Steve Lance Sr Night make up from back in June. On Saturday night is the annual Illinois State Championship race. Teams will compete on the high banks of Peoria Speedway for 50 laps Saturday night. These races will be aired LIVE on MARS Racing TV, you can watch at marsracing.tv. More information will be released as we get closer to the events on how to order the events.
We are very excited about our Labor Day weekend schedule. We will kick things off on Thursday September 3rd at Farmer City Raceway for the two-day Farmer City 74 with $5,000 to win. On Friday September 4th we will once again race at Farmer City Raceway for another $5,000 top prize. We will then move on to the Fairbury Speedway for a $10,000 to win event. All events during the Labor Day weekend will be LIVE on DirtonDirt.com. More information on the details of how to see these events will be released as we close in on the events.
