Spoon River Speedway to Host Mars Championship Weekend

(January 19, 2021) Burbank, IL â€“ The officials of the Mars Racing Series presented by Rip It Energy Fuel are excited to announce the dates and venue for the 2021 Championship Weekend. This yearâ€™s two-day season finale will take place at the Spoon River Speedway. Spoon River Speedway was the 2019 DIRTcar track of the year and excited about hosting the action-packed weekend.

Friday, September 24^th the weekend will kick off with a $5,000 to win event. On Saturday night another complete racing program will take place for $5,000 to win. The 2021 Mars Racing Series champion will also be crowned for the season long points title. More details about this event will be given closer to the event. All information in future for this event will be able to be found at the Mars Racing website or the Spoon River Facebook page.

Tony Izzo Jr and team are excited to be able to put this deal together to close out the upcoming Mars Racing Series season.
