CONSISTENCY EXPRESS: Unzicker Eying First Mars Title
(October 7, 2022) LaSalle, IL – The Mars Racing Series is excited to wrap up the 2022 race season and crown its series champion. The two-day FALS Frenzy at Fairbury Speedway will be the deciding factor in who will claim the title. Ryan Unzicker has a 33-point lead headed into the final two events. Jason Feger leads the way in series wins with four and is looking to chase down Unzicker this weekend. The two will battle for a championship bonus that pays $16,000 if both events are completed this weekend. It will be fun for fans to watch the two Illinois drivers battle it out at "America's Dirt Track" in $5,000 and $15,000 to win events.
Action for the 2022 Sunoco Race Fuels Rookie of the Year battle is even closer! Bob Garder leads McKay Wenger by only 1 point headed into this weekend. The two will be fighting for a $2,500 bonus presented by Sunoco Race Fuels. McKay Wenger will look to claw back into the lead this weekend at his home track where he has had much success.
Several of the top drivers in the Midwest are slated to compete this weekend. All the action this weekend will be streamed LIVE on FloRacing, the official streaming partner of the Mars Racing Series.
